# API Migration Implementation Status

## Completed in this delivery

- Registered a root `/api/v1` route surface in Laravel 12.
- Added Laravel Sanctum dependency, token model support, CORS configuration, stateful SPA middleware and the personal access token migration.
- Added a consistent success/error JSON envelope and English/Bangla locale middleware.
- Converted public website data flows to APIs: bootstrap/navigation, homepage, CMS pages, courses, batches, mentors, reviews, news, public profiles and contact messages.
- Added API authentication: registration, login, current user, logout, logout-all, verification resend, forgot password and password reset.
- Added authenticated checkout with transactional pending-order/enrollment synchronization.
- Converted the student dashboard, courses, batches, mentor list, invoices/PDF and full profile CRUD to APIs.
- Restricted live-class and recorded-video links to approved enrollments.
- Disabled the unreliable generated module API scaffolds so `/api/v1` is the single supported contract.
- Added OpenAPI and Postman contracts, a database relationship map, Next.js integration guidance and architecture recommendations.
- Added API feature tests for the public contract, student authorization/private links and checkout batch switching.

## Validation performed

- PHP syntax validation passed for all 432 PHP files in the delivered project.
- JSON parsing passed for every JSON file, including `composer.json`, `composer.lock`, OpenAPI and Postman files.
- All 47 API route actions were statically checked against their controller methods.
- `composer.lock` contains Laravel Sanctum v4.3.2 and its content hash matches `composer.json`.
- The SQL dump was parsed into 33 tables and 27 declared foreign-key relationships.

## Runtime validation still required locally or in CI

The delivery environment did not contain Composer/vendor dependencies or a running MySQL service, so Artisan boot, migrations and Pest tests could not be executed here. Run:

Import the supplied database only into an isolated environment. The dump drops and recreates `itech-db`, and it contains runtime cache data that should not be distributed or restored in production.

## Intentionally deferred to the Next.js phase

- Next.js layouts, components and page designs.
- Moving email-verification and password-reset landing pages from existing Laravel web routes to Next.js.
- Production deployment/domain cookie configuration.
- Admin-panel API conversion, because the requested first phase targets the public website and student panel.
